Tom is the founder of TMS Protection Limited, and his commitment to the business has been vital for its growth into one of the south east’s leaders in the security industry.
Tom served as a Police Officer with Kent Police, and has implemented the skills and knowledge gained during this time in the business model.
Qualified in Level 5 Crowd Management, Tom’s vision and experience are key to the company’s success.
Tom is also a director of TMS Protection’s sister company TMS Cleaning.
Tom enjoys going to the gym, playing football and spending time with his family.
Ian joined the TMS Protection Management structure as our Operations Manager and has quickly become a valued member of our team resulting in him being promoted to General Manager.
Using his years of experience gained whilst working as both a Security & Soft Services Manager, Ian understands the importance of working together as one team to achieve our goal.
Ian is primarily responsible for all sectors of the business, including the day to day management of our operation and will always endeavour to help all of our customers and employees with their queries.
During his time with the business, Ian has been pivotal in the progression of our operations into new markets across the country, whilst nurturing our existing work force and clients.
Ian’s hobbies include sea fishing on his boat, DIY and spending time with his family.
SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER
Georgie has a wealth of experience in planning and operational strategies and very quickly became a key individual playing a pivotal role in the Operations and Human Resources departments. Promoted firstly to Operations Manager, Georgie progressed further to Senior Operations Manager.
As Senior Operations Manager Georgie is responsible for the overall management and service delivery of Door Supervisors, Security Guarding, Key Holding, Alarm Response and Mobile Patrol
Georgie holds a Level 5 in Crowd Management and is a qualified Community Policing Volunteer (CPV) with Kent Police.
Georgie’s hobbies include socialising with friends, exercising and spending time with her son.
Quintin is an approved SIA trainer and experienced Security Officer and has been instrumental in developing our workforce to ensure we are compliant with approved contractor regulations.
Acting as lead for our training sector, contracts management and ensuring our policies are implemented, Quintin has become a vital part of our business.
We are now able to offer a wide variety of courses at our training facility in Maidstone, ensuring all of our staff have the skills they need to deliver a first class service to our clients.
Quintin enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym and travelling.
Joanne joined our team in 2020 after the global Corona Virus pandemic, after excelling in an operational role during these times. COVID-19 was an horrendous time for everybody but Joanne was described by her colleagues and our customers as a shining light with her positive and “can do” attitude.
Joanne has vast experience in Marketing and Operations, therefore we have combined both roles which has enabled her to prosper in both roles that she enjoys.
Joanne is now responsible for all of our Social Media marketing and also works alongside Georgie in the Operations department, assisting with rosters, staff management and liaising with clients.
This has been a great addition to our Head Office team and we look forward to Joanne enhancing our business.
Joanne enjoys travelling to different counties, socialising with friends and going for walks.
KEYHOLDER AND MOBILE RESPONSE COORDINATOR
Gemma, from her previous roles, brings experience in specialist teaching and business and administration skills, along with knowledge and experience from within the security industry.
Responsible for maintaining TMS’s fleet of vehicles, and coordinating our mobile unit patrols, Gemma ensures driver compliance and all assignment instructions and standard operating procedures, including fire alarm testing and emergency lighting compliance checks are meticulously followed and recorded.
Gemma acts as the first point of contact for all client and officers key holding site inspections.
Gemma enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, and is an avid Harry Potter fan!
Still actively involved in security as a Head Doorman, James’ decision making and management skills are also utilised in the office as one of our Operations Coordinators.
Working with the Operations Manager, James assists with business growth and development and maintains a positive relationship with our workforce to help manage performance. James also plays an active role supporting recruitment, appraisals and training.
James enjoys spending time with his son and playing pool!
Qualified and working in Bench Joinery, Lindon also worked with TMS as a door supervisor during the weekends.
Demonstrating decision making and management skills, Lindon’s career has progressed to become one of our Operations Coordinators working with the Operations Manager to identify cost saving measures and sales opportunities. Lindon acts as the first point for contact for clients and ensures all staff deliver a professional friendly service to customers. Lindon also plays a key role supporting staffing, staff assessment and development.
Lindon is a massive blues guitar fan and an excellent chess player!
Having come from a role which involved team guidance and support, safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality, Lorna now performs the role of Administrator.
Responsible for recruit applications, new employee vetting, completion of employment records and supporting our interview process, Lorna continues to support new members of TMS staff through their induction and training programme.
When Lorna is not studying for her NVQ L3 in Administration and Assessing Vocational Achievements, she enjoys reading, and watching darts and football. She has even met the legendary Eric Bristow!
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Having previously worked as a Police officer, and a HR Officer within a charity organisation achieving a CIPD Level 7 qualification in Human Resources, Nick is strategically placed within TMS as our HR Manager.
Nick provides effective guidance and installs confidence in both management and staff. Responsible for the administration of a professional and seamless HR process, Nick oversees personal development and ensures KPI’s and Service Level Agreements are being achieved, and TMS delivers an efficient customer focussed service.
Nick’s spare time is dedicated to his family. Nick enjoys football, walking and travelling.
Thomas, who is currently studying Biochemistry at University, also holds a passion for business management and an expertise in database application.
Dividing his time between study and work with TMS, Thomas is responsible for processing invoices, credit control, setting up new clients, managing payments to sub-contractors and ensuring the correct protocols and processes are in place. Thomas has been instrumental in improving efficiency and plays a key role in continuous improvement of processes.
Thomas enjoys playing guitar and chess, and have a love for languages fluent in Russian, Spanish and French.
EVENTS COORDINATOR AND TRAINER
Tia started her career at TMS within Operations and progressed to Event Coordinator. Tia is also a qualified Trainer.
As our Events Coordinator, Tia meets our customers on site to understand requirements and provides operational management of event on the day. As the main point of contact Tia is responsible for maintaining communication and smooth delivery of events.
When delivering our in-house training, Tia shares her expertise to help develop in our staff an effective and efficient skill set.
Tia enjoys going to the Theatre and Musicals and cherishes her time with family and friends.
