Street Marshals are beginning to play a vital role in the fight against anti-social behaviour nationwide. Our CSAS-accredited Street Marshals always have our stakeholders’ interests at heart; as a progressive company, we are honoured to provide our skilled security operatives to several local councils across Kent and London.
TMS Protections’ CSAS Marshals are accredited by the Met and Kent Police. The CSAS accreditation means our operatives possess additional powers across Kent and London, enabling them to assist both the police and your existing security team in various ways. These powers include request an offender’s name and address, Issue a fixed penalty notice, Issue a penalty notice for disorder, confiscate items such as tobacco or alcohol, direct traffic.
When we were first approached in 2018 to get involved in the Maidstone Nighttime Street Marshal Scheme, the team at TMS Protection Ltd talked at length about how we could provide maximum value and serve the community in the best way possible. The resounding success of the initial Maidstone scheme meant other local authorities soon approached us.
As of 2023, TMS Protection provides CSAS-accredited marshals to Tonbridge & Malling, Swale and Bromley councils; our handpicked teams of Marshals use their powers to support local law enforcement and deal with anti-social behaviour; the scope of our service varies between the three locations and is no longer restricted to nighttime only.
